Electrical Testing
Whether it's a dimmer switch or an electronic medical device, manufacturers want assurance that 100% of the product they ship to customers works perfectly. For high-volume products, electrical tests are often incorporated into the automated assembly equipment (we do this too!) but for lower volume, high-mix products where a fully-automated assembly system isn't justified, manufacturers often hand-test every single product. To make this process efficient and reliable, Omnitech can develop a work cell customized to the product being testing. These solutions incorporate custom nests designed to hold the product while electrical tests are performed.
