Equipment Setup
After a customer takes delivery of equipment developed by Omnitech, Omnitech’s technicians set-up the equipment and perform the initial start-up to to assure that all of the machine’s stations are aligned and functioning properly, and that the machine is producing parts at the designed rate and quality. The team includes a mechanical engineer, assembly technician, and controls engineer.
Training
As part of its Equipment Set-up service, Omnitech trains its customers on the proper operation and maintenance of equipment. This assures that machine operators and maintenance employees are familiar with the equipment and able to operate and maintain the equipment in Omnitech’s absence. Omnitech technicians also train the customer’s in-house PLC programmers on accessing administrative features of a machine’s controls system (PLC, vision, robots, etc.).
Repairs - Urgent Field Service
Gone are the days when manufacturers maintained a significant inventory of the parts and products they sold. Today’s manufacturers operate in the fast-pace, low-inventory, quick-turnaround, just-in-time, Amazon-fulfillment world. This means that companies can’t afford several days of downtime. The automated equipment Omnitech develops needs to be operating at its designed performance levels all the time. Although some customers have automation-experienced, in-house resources to maintain and repair automated manufacturing equipment, many do not, so having a partner like Omnitech, that can provide 24/7/365 support, is critical.
A team of professionals available to you 24/7/365 for urgent needs and technical issues.
